The Texas Alliance for Geographic Education and GISetc is co-coordinating the Esri the Texas Middle School and High School Map Competition this year. This year’s theme is Texas. Your Story Map or web app must focus on a concept, issue, or event in Texas.

Native Americans in Texas, Spanish Exploration in Texas, Civil Rights in Your Community, Texas Celebrations, Natural Resources in Your Community/Texas, Texas Trade, Texas Immigration, History of Your Community, Birds in Texas, Texas’ Endangered Species, Water in Your Community, Recreation Opportunities, Issues in Your Community, Explore your Local History & Geography or any other story, idea, issue in Texas.
Register Your School. Deadline April 15, 2019.
Early Mentoring Submission option deadline: March 22, 2019.
Final map submissions are due: May 6, 2019.
Esri will announce its awards decision by 5pm Pacific Time on Monday, June 3, 2019.
