Election day is finally here. We exercised our right to vote (and we never exercise…it was exhausting! LOL) and we hope you voted too!

Our resource today is POLITICO. Have your students visit that website tonight to follow real time maps with election results for everything on the ballot – national and by state. If you’re viewing the national map be sure to scroll over each state for more detail and data.

When we originally conceptualized the Super Tuesday political feature, we focused on bringing you pre-election data, but now that the election is here, we have decided to continue the program into the winter to explore all the rich post-election information and maps that will flow in. Stay tuned!

At GISetc.com we curate and bring you the best science resources from the web. We hope our sharing will keep you up to date on the latest science and geospatial news.

With Super Tuesdays we are careful not to endorse either party. We strive to present unbiased links that can spark conversations based on current events in your classroom.
