Designed for college students, the lessons build on the rich array of GIS tools available, enabling students to perform sophisticated analyses in a variety of content areas. This book encourages readers to make decisions and ultimately create their own analysis to investigate and answer based on real-world concerns. The book contains a student resource DVD with exercises and data and a software DVD with a 180-day trial of ArcGIS Desktop 9.2.

Making Spatial Decisions Using GIS is to be used directly by the student for individual study. Instructors who are interested in incorporating this text into their curriculum can request a desk copy with companion instructor DVD here.
